Time to act locally

A good article that I commend to your attention: Resist Arbitrary Government

If you live in Massachusetts, you might want to join the mailing list of this organization: Renew Massachusetts Coalition.

They say:

We’re organizing to be one-stop shopping for conservatives looking to stay informed and get involved in a way that utilizes their time wisely, and contributes to the overall goal of moving MA to the right. Winnable fights, achievable goals, baby steps in the right direction: a long-term plan to Renew Massachusetts.

The pendulum has swung too far to the left in Massachusetts. We need to renew our commitment to lower taxation, educational opportunity, common sense social policy, and less government.

If you have something similar in your state, feel free to link in the comments.

  1. I wouldn't give them money, though -- they are Republicans and would have to show that they are actually doing something -- the Republican Party in MA is a huge part of the problem.

  2. We don't have a clearinghouse for all the issues in VA (that I know of), but I've just recently become aware of Virginia Freedom Keepers because one of the founders is at our parish homeschool coop. They focus on opposing medical mandates that ignore informed consent. (I'm sure you can read between the lines there.)

  3. I recently heard a talk about the power of the local precinct positions in your party. The man said that roughly half of the Precinct Committeemen positions in the GOP are vacant-there for the taking. Apparently, these volunteers choose the people who run for office throughout the party. This website teaches how to seek those positions to serve in your local precinct: https://theprecinctproject.wordpress.com/category/becoming-a-precinct-committeeman-step-by-step/
